I'm considering installing a recliner in this spot. I'm grateful for these serene moments. Lowering blood pressure and soothing the soul can be accomplished through mindfulness. After 58 years, I've finally discovered the key, thanks to my partner Michelle of 8 years.❤️🧑🏻‍🌾🐄🚜🌾🙏🏻☺️

They aren't kidding about Tampa Bay being the lightening capital! ⚡️🌩 Jim and I were just sitting on the front porch, watching and listening to the pouring rain, when the lightening strikes began to get uncomfortably close. We saw one hit very near where our cows were huddled together. Both of us expressing our concern over their safety when Jim exclaimed how it wasn't even safe for us to be on the porch. Suddenly, the loudest BOOM and a near blinding flash went off right before our eyes. We both jumped to our feet and ran inside. I turned around to look back out through the sliding doors, scanning for any possible damage, and that is when I noticed that another one of our big pine trees took a hit. Stripped the bark right off of it, down to the ground. Last summer I watched another pine get struck. The bark flew up in the air before the debris scattered and fell to the ground! All of the animals are currently safe, and the lightening has moved further away. 🙏

MOOOOOOVING DAY!! 🐄🫏

Today I’m moving Willow, Meadow, Winston and Magnolia to our first pasture we created back in 2024.

Winston will help me bring the ladies to this pasture 😊🐄

The grass in ready for mowing so here come the 4 legged lawn mowers! Eat up !!

Preparing to move the cows to our original pasture. This was our first pasture attempt years ago with zero experience on how to develop 10 acres of land. Today we are blessed with lush green grass able to feed our cows with plenty of protein and vitamins that they require. But it can also come with potential dangers! See video below..

A significant aspect of managing this Family Farm involves providing appropriate care to our animals. Donkeys are particularly susceptible to leg problems and open wounds. A.K.A “Summer Sores” Therefore, it is crucial to monitor them closely. Today, I am wrapping Shelby's legs due to another open wound that necessitates prompt attention. Never thought I’d ever be a self learned Vet ! haha! Doc Jim in the house attending to her needs. Let’s go!
