In case anyone is wondering if a donkey bite hurts? 🤔 I can officially confirm that they do in fact, hurt like hell.🫩

Being care takers to our two donkeys requires a lot of attention to their needs. Proper food, minerals, water, attention and a dry safe shelter they can run into at any moment. ✅

Maverick and Shelby now have their own shelter to run into. That was a fun build. I added a special feature to the front wall which allows them to hide behind the wall in severe weather while still being able to see out and stay dry.

Feels like temp today was 112*. Winston is not built for this heat. How much do we love him? Enough to where he now has his own shade canopy and water misting system. Fans are next. He’s already understanding the concept of the system. Smart dude!
These misting systems can be found at Rural king and they are very affordable. 🤠😍🐄

The walk isn’t bad to the drop box for mail. I have some friends that are always eager to tag along for a chat and time to catch up. They never complain! ❤️🤠🫏🐄

Jim and our son-in-law Steven are building a new shelter for the donkeys in our small pasture. They weren't even halfway through when it began to rain. Both Shelby and Maverick scooched their little butts inside to escape the big scary droplets falling from the sky! 😂 🫏 I guess it passed inspection.

Time to grow! 🚜🔨👷🚧

After having some very severe Droughts here in Florida we have finally been approved to burn! This is the final 3.5 acres we cleared almost two years ago. The Rodriguez Brothers are hard at it!
What shall we put on this newly developing area? Horse stables? Man cave? She shed? Endless possibilities!
