Happy Saturday! We are OPEN until 6 PM today!

Our pumpkin stand is dwindling down, but we still have plenty of beautiful pumpkins available at GREAT prices! If you’re still looking for pumpkins to decorate your porch or yard, now is a great time to stop by and grab some deals!

First night heating the tomatoes!

This is where the cost of our greenhouse tomatoes is going to add up significantly! I plan to maintain 60 degrees at night all the way through January when we terminate these plants. It’s 46 outside this morning😀 Tomatoes can handle much colder, but to keep them actively growing and setting fruit maintaining at least 60 degrees at night is best!

I don’t show it much, but I’m still out here performing weekly tomato maintenance!

Suckering, trimming lower limbs, leaning, and lowering are all very important weekly tasks I have to do to keep these tomato plants growing to the best of their ability!

🌿 WE’RE OPEN TODAY 10–6! 🌿

🌼 Sunday: 3–6

Looks like we’re in for some pretty gusty winds today, so bear with me on our fruit trees! 😅 We currently have them tied up to keep them upright, which isn’t ideal for customers trying to browse and shop. 🥴 If any of my fellow nursery folks have suggestions for keeping taller, potted fruit trees upright while still making them easy to move and sell, I’d sure appreciate your advice!

We’ve got plenty of other beautiful plants to choose from, too, so come see us! 🌳🌸

PLUS, we’ve got LOADS of great pumpkin deals across the road at our pumpkin stand! 🎃 We’re marking things down, so now’s a great time to grab some pumpkins for fall decorating!

While I’ve been highlighting our fruit trees and pumpkins this week, I don’t want to leave out some of the other great plants we have available at Dry Bottom Farms & Nursery this fall! We’ve got some beautiful plants at GREAT prices, and now is a wonderful time to add some color and beauty to your landscape!

One thing I want to improve upon for 2027 at our nursery is better plant organization and having clear signage for each section. Right now, things can be a little scattered around our small nursery, and I know that can sometimes make it harder to find exactly what you’re looking for!

Please don’t hesitate to ask if you’re looking for something you’ve seen me post but can’t find while walking around. I’ll be glad to show you where it is and talk with you about the plant! I want to make sure you find what you came for, and I’m always happy to help.

Happy Wednesday! Take a tour of the fruit trees and bushes we have available. While this is by no means a huge selection or mass quantities I didn’t want to buy in to much without testing the waters first! PUMPKIN SALE!

Despite the intense heat this fall, pumpkin sales have remained steady, and I’m truly blessed to have the best customers who have faithfully supported our farm over the years! We appreciate every single one of you.

With that being said, my goal is to have our pumpkin stand EMPTY within the next couple of weeks! I’m marking prices down considerably to move these pumpkins and gourds while they’re still here. If you’ve been waiting on a deal, NOW is the time!
