A busy week for Farmer Ron!

🌸 2027 potting mix being delivered

💧 Water plants 8 hours a day (feels like it)
➕ Much much more behind the scenes stuff going on just at the nursery and I still have people ask me if I have another job. I guess I could if I wanted to work 100 hours a week instead of 60-70😆

We have LARGE 12” / 3-GALLON MUMS ready for your porch, patio, flower beds, or anywhere you want some fall color!

💡 My recommendation: Pick up 2 that are blooming or close to blooming and another 2 that still have a few weeks to go. That way, you’ll have color now AND more blooms coming later in the season!

Our greenhouse tomatoes are really starting to grow😁
They’ll get stringed soon, but unfortunately with the upcoming heatwave most blooms that try to open will probably drop. Once we push past the high temps they’ll start setting fruit more consistently!

August has been a grind and it seems like everything has been against me just trying to make a living for my family. Here’s to hoping September is a better month!

Sprayed the flower field last night!
We didn’t have any worm problems last season, but this year they came out in full force!
We put down insecticide, fungicide to try to suppress leaf spot, and also grass killer to knock it back.
Next steps are to cut our trails and position the swing!

And yes some zinnias were harmed in the making of this video, but I bet you’ll never see where I drove three weeks from now😅
