This morning, Mr. Daniel Spickard and Mr. Joe Edmiston from Blue Stream Farms dropped off an amazing new addition to our STEM Lab- a hydroponic grow system.
We are so excited to plant, harvest, and eventually eat our own lettuce and other crops!

Our first attempt at vertical growth is a success! We have tomatoes. 🍅🐟🌱

Aquaponics is such a fun way to grow produce, but we need to be mindful of the weight so as not to sink the rafts!

Thanks to the grant we received from Hancock County Savings Bank Foundation, we were able to purchase the equipment to make vertical growing a reality!
