Anyone looking for young roosters? I have 5 or 6 I'd be willing to let go of. They are this years hatches so no older than 6 months.

We added new ducks to our duck/chicken run. Our older ducks said we don't want to be here with them. So they started escaping the run. For weeks we would catch them and put them back in the run.

Finally about 2 weeks ago my 11 year old said "Mom we just have free ranging ducks now."

Now I have chickens doing the same thing. Im seriously tempted to just take the run down and let them all free range.

In the past we had worried about our dogs but the one that was known to accidentally kill birds while playing with them hasn't bothered them at all. (She getting old)

Sooooo should I or shouldn't I??

We are on the hunt for some goose eggs! Show me what you've got!!

Our Turkeys are starting to hatch!
Because these eggs came out of a nest on a farm they are all at different stages of development.
All 12 eggs we set have life and activity.
But they could hatch at any point over the next 10 days. We are so excited to be adding Turkeys to our menagerie.
