Harvest time is the best time! 🐝
It has certainly been the best year yet at Paradise Heights. There have been a few big changes and some challenges, but this thriving sanctuary will always be cared for fully.

Good Morning! Here are photos from June that we are so happy to share with you. Tons of work and now we are watching it all pay off πŸπŸ’œβœ¨

After taking a big loss when our attempt at a living mulch (white clover) was thwarted by weeds, we have returned to our procedure of heavily mulching the entire garden with hay. Because of the extra bed prep that we redid to reclaim our garden, we were unable to implement the irrigation system that had been thought up over the spring.

These issues required us to really buckle down and push through the discouragement to achieve our revised goals. 🀘
We have overcome many challenges in 2019 to get our garden to a place where we can finally focus on spending some time in our paradise, ensuring minimal weeding, prioritizing plant protection, and providing the safest plant nourishment! 🀩

The planting part of our season has concluded, and now we get to wait for the fruits of our labor! We currently are able to harvest seven different types of leafy greens (with plenty to share)!! Please feel free to plan a visit! We would love to have guests, and we are more than willing to share our experiences as well as hear about gardening triumphs and defeats from our garden inspired peers! 🌻🌦🐞

Cheers to dedication and the desire to improve. One of the most important things about this project is growth in ourselves as well as applying all of the lessons we have learned to make Paradise Heights a fruitful light in our community.

Good morning β˜€οΈ and very happy summer greetings to everyone out there! We apologize for the lack of updates from us here in Paradise Heights. Things have been extra busy both in and out of the garden, but we are hard at work making this the best year yet!
Please enjoy some of our top photos captured of the springtime portion of this awesome 2019 growing season!

This was our first year growing from seed. It was a huge learning experience and such an honor to know we nurtured these babies all the way. We have developed specific conscious practices to use when introducing each and every single plant into our garden. Every single one is welcomed into their new home with the intention of love and good health.

When planting, we use a trifecta of our own homemade & very rich compost, organic bone meal, and Dr. Earth RootZone starter fertilzer in the hole. Before inserting our plant, we give it a bath in an organic mix of diluted seaweed & kelp that is just full of nutrients and minerals. We then water in generously with that mixture and finally, cover with a thick hay mulch layer to help prevent weeds.

This year, we also have leveled up with our organization & layout. We spent a lot of the winter putting our minds to the best possible way to achieve maximum yield, minimum loss, sufficient spacing, and ample room to just CHILL!

Every single day, this place turns more & more into the sanctuary that we imagine. πŸ§šβ€β™‚οΈ Manifest your dreams!

Warm greetings, everyone! 🌞
By getting started as early as possible this year, we've found ourselves with time to get creative and add new features to Paradise Heights. We are building our own little sanctuary one day at a time!

We have done tons of bed prep, planning, layout & design. Our onions, potatoes, and leafy greens are planted while the tomatoes and peppers are going strong indoors!

We couldn't be more stoked for this year's garden. Always 100% organic, as fresh and close to Mother Earth as can be! 🌎🌿🌌

Things are already getting exciting here in Paradise Heights. We are so excited for 2019 and are ready to put to use all of our very valuable lessons from last season.

Enjoy the beautiful full moon tonight as we make our way into warmer & longer days.

What a wonderful year it has been! πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ
We almost cannot believe how well our crops have done with no chemical controls! This season has taught us so much - from planning to garden maintenance, harvesting to cooking! Our primary intention with Paradise Heights here at the Red Tail Draw is the complete, healthy, and sustainable cycle of farm-to-table! As the nights get colder, we reflect on all of our successes as well as our setbacks.
We are extremely grateful for every single person who contributed their time, energy, and ideas. You are forever a piece of this garden. Thank you as well to the people who have visited and supported our efforts.

This is one of our final calls to come visit us and take home delicious organic goodies before it gets too cold.

Thank you again for all of the love! We will continue updating this page as our beautiful garden evolves!
