When the magic of two gardens meet…✨

Edible flower salt from Wild Wiggins Homestead 🧂🌸🧡 Crafted with violas grown on our flower farm, calendula and other blooms from WWH, and a beautiful Hawaiian salt.

Edible flower salts

Sown in March, harvested in July and August. Hand-picked, air-dried for two weeks, then blended with Hawaiian black salt made from Pacific sea salt and activated charcoal.

The result is a beautiful umami salt with delicate crystals and a touch of whimsy garden magic ✨🌷

On this next batch I’m also adding beautiful violas from my neighbour friend who grows pesticide-free organic flowers — a mini collab with a woman farmer from Forage & Flowers . Excited for this new batch, it’s gonna be extra magical!

I scatter them on avocado toast, boiled eggs, or any snack that needs a little colour and crunch.

It's true! People who shop the Greeley Farmers' Market are generally happier and more attractive! 😜

But seriously, studies have shown people who engage in their local communities feel a stronger sense of belonging, connection to place, reduce stress from an in-person shopping experience, builds healthy eating habits, and is just plain fun!

So come on down to 7th St North of Lincoln Park, Saturdays from 8am-12pm, through October to get your Farmers' Market fix!

Sounds of summer. 💦

The OG garden bed is getting some R&R this season! We planted peas and oats as a cover crop that will help us with suppressing unwanted plants, improving the soil health and creating a layer of biomass that will be worked into next seasons planting as mulch.
