Congratulations to our eldest daughter, Taylor Randell Singleton. Thursday May 11th my wife Randi and I had the privilege of watching her being hooded, which is part of her PhD ceremony.
It was the culmination of 23 years of education. That scared me when I went to adding it up!
She is now a Doctor of Philosophy, Crop and Soil Science.
She is also recently employed as the Pesticide Sustainability Extension Specialist for the state of Georgia.
Not bad for a Suwannee county farm kid. Good things come from small places.
Contrary to our life long background as UF gators we had no problem saying how bout that Dawg!!

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends, both old and new. Never lose sight of the reason for the season!

From a really dry start to very wet, to very cold, this planting season has had it all!
Less than a thousand acres to go!
Really love what we do and have a great crew to work with! Thanks to our customers for putting their faith in us to plant their crops. Making cow chow can be a full time job!
Next week, it’s off to a new project.

Looking for 1000 acres of wheat straw in South Georgia to large square bale this year. We pay top dollar and pay weekly by the ton or per bale, and we move off the field immediately behind baler. Have a written contract so we won't act like these fly by night guys who never pay and never move bales. We're serious about what we do and don't do anything half assed. Sometimes this place is busier than the self checkout line at Walmart!
The dry matter is going up, so the trucks will roll a little harder tomorrow.
4 weeks from now we will replant the home farm with fall corn.

60 + road miles, we are finally through planting spring corn.
Could not have done it without Tommy, Ronald, Greg,and Jose.
Thanks to ours customers who had the confidence in us to let us plant their crops to feed their animals.
110 days and we will start all over again! Farming in Florida never stops!
Farming life is good!
