Our bees are thriving! 🐝

Healthy happy queens mean the colonies are booming with new bees, and the ladies are foraging like crazy. On top of that, the amount of honey stores they have already means they needed some more room! Such a busy and exciting time! 👏

I didn’t get to have bee fun today, because Gabe was being a grump… But all 3 hives are doing wonderfully!

Feeling so blessed this Mothers Day! 💗

I had the best weekend with my family. I pray you all did as well. Loving all of my new flowers around the homestead 🥹🥰🌸💗!! My mother in law, brother in law, niece and nephews, hubby, and even one of my besties got me flowers this year… I am feeling SO BLESSED.

Thank you Lord, for the precious gift of motherhood. It is a ministry I do not take for granted. I love you, Ruth and Gabriel. Thank you for being my babies 💛

Hive inspection day! 🔎🐝🍯✨

What we were looking for :
• The Queen
• New eggs
• Drawn out comb on our new empty frames
• NO pests

And we checked all of those boxes in all 3 hives! Woo! One of our hives is close to needing a second deep box, the other two have a little bit to go…. But they’re in full swing now! 👏

Cole & I took a ride back to a patch of clover on the property and the bees were BUZZIN’ 🐝🐝

Did you know that we raise our own meat chickens? We are currently raising 50! They’re 2 weeks old. And they only take 7-8 weeks to raise. 🐓

I was just thinkin’ 🤔⬇️⬇️⬇️

Is there any interest in some educational/informative posts about what breed we use, where we buy them, what kind of feed we buy, and the work that we put in daily? Where we butcher, etc.. ?
