“Farm Wildwood Stella” (2xJRCH, 1xJGCH, 1xJBIS). Stella won her junior leg at her 2nd ever show at 3 months old, so it’s been a minute since she’s seen the show ring. However, I am so excited to bring her to her first senior show in a couple weeks as a 2 year-old first freshener! 🤗 She freshened with a beautiful ff udder, but unfortunately, with all of life’s business and chaos in this season, I haven’t been the best about keeping her udder show-ready and had left her kid on her. So I am now milking her three times a day for the next couple weeks to see about getting her production back up, so we’ll see what happens! She is one of my absolute favorite does. She is one of those that I could stare at in the pasture all day and is such a sweet, albeit pretty spoiled, girl. I’m so excited to see how she does in a couple weeks when we head to Missouri!

First shave of the year! Ugh I love her so much! 😍 She was so over it after her “spa day” that there was no way she was posing for pictures right now, so a candid will have to suffice. 🤣

So much for downsizing! 🫣 Well, in my defense I have cut back both my buck and doe herd significantly, so two exciting new additions wouldn’t counteract that goal too much, right? 😆 Yep, we have two new additions arriving this coming week, and I am ecstatic! 🥳 When the opportunities presented themselves, they were too good to resist! I am resolved that these will be the only two goat purchases I make this year. Lol 🙃 Stay tuned for new arrival announcement posts later this week! 👀
P.S. One of Firefly’s doelings reenacted my husband’s reaction when I told him of my latest purchases 🤣🫣

We are excited to learn that “CH Flower Lion Farm LG Peppermint’s” dry yearling daughter, “Flower Lion Farm ChocolateMint” (owned by Flower Lion Farm) just won her dry leg at the Colorado Showdown this past weekend! 🤩Congratulations to Flower Lion Farm and their gorgeous animals! We are honored to have Peppermint here as part of our herd, and can’t wait to bring her doelings from this year into the show ring!
