Another day, another gorgeous field of flowers. 🌻 I find myself spending more and more time drawn to things that recharge and restore my energy. Fields of sunflowers remind me of summers in Italy with my family, and those memories are some of my most beautiful. 🇮🇹✨ I think my favorite part of the wanderlust that my soul always holds is that I learn so much and get inspired for my roles as a restaurant owner and a wedding/event producer, and even a barn owner (look out Andiamo Farm because sunflowers may come your way!🤣)

Cheers to cool days that warm the heart and fill the soul, right? ✨🫶🏼❤️

With renewed focus on enjoying each ride without pressure, I got back into the ring this week armed with modified approaches and an empowering mindset shift towards self-belief and hard work – all thanks to wise equine teachers! Grateful for uplifting humans too 🤍

A fall five weeks ago may have unexpectedly caused my confidence to waiver, but the belief & trust in the horses and humans that surround me was what made this ebb moment a really temporary one. Everything in life is a work in progress, especially me -> but I appreciated the journey this week. And I really appreciate my horses, and the humans who care for them. I am SO proud of the ALL female team that comprises Durpetti Equestrian & Andiamo Farm and the work that these ladies to to give my horses their best lives and to give me every opoortunity to learn, grow and achieve. ✨

Cassius, I luh ya Papi. 💙😂🤩
We were so close today. Getting there, getting there, getting there!! Really the only one that needs reinforcement of that is me. Being an amateur in this sport if not for the faint of heart. People can be awesome and supportive and I love my horse friends more than anything. But people can also be judgy and small, gossipy and jealous and down right lacking of things like social grace. And all that swirls around the reality of attempting to pilot a large animal over obstacles with style and grace while looking relaxed. I mean -> that s**t ain’t easy y’all. So congrats to all 44 folks who threw their hat in the ring (or the field as it were today). Showing up is a win in itself.

I’mma keep working on getting out of my Cass’s way here so we can start being our best selves. He is my horse of a lifetime and I had a moment today on that field in which I felt that truth in my cells and had a huge moment of gratitude for all he gives to me.

Thanks to his team too, as always. We can’t be us without each of you.

Two weeks of well earned rest, and then back to it.
Chasing. Those. Big. Dreams. ✨

What a privilege. I hope every one of my equestrian friends gets to enjoy that moment of conscious gratitude down in their bone marrow this week. 🤍🤍
