Goldenrod Tincture 💛

Dried goldenrod
80-100 proof alcohol
Let it sit for a few weeks
Then strain

Goldenrod is used to reduce pain and swelling (inflammation), as a diuretic to increase urine flow, and to stop muscle spasms. It is also used for gout, joint pain (rheumatism), arthritis, as well as eczema and other skin conditions.

Bigger Mac in a Bowl

The healthier alternative to a Big Mac

Recipe for Sauce;
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp tomato sauce or Ketchup
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp honey
2 tbsp dill pickles, chopped
2 tsp onion, minced
¼ tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp salt and pepper
1-2 tbsp almond milk, any milk

Double Chocolate Banana Bread

Ingredients:
3 spotty bananas
2 cups oats (blended into flour or store-bought oat flour)
2 eggs
1/4 cup avocado oil
1/2 cup coconut sugar (or cane sugar)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp milk of choice
1/8 tsp salt (plus more for topping)
1 tsp baking soda
chocolate chips (for topping)

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F and grease a loaf pan (I used coconut oil)

Using a fork, mash bananas in a large bowl. Add in oil, milk, and eggs and stir well.
Next, add in oat flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir again.
Pour batter into loaf pan and top with chocolate chips. Bake for 45-50 minutes.

The market hosted 18 vendors, including four brand new vendors, and was visited by over 400 patrons at its brand new location at 101 10th Street, across from the front doors of the public library. It was quite a day!
