Good morning ☀️ Lots going on this week on our tiny farm.
The Sebastopol eggs FINALLY are going into lockdown Thursday! I’m excited but I’ve read too many nightmare stories about them getting to the end and not hatching. Their hatching window is a week😳 I have so much invested- time and money. Cross your fingers 🪿💨
We are also working on another coop. This one is small and will be for the geese or a breeding pen.
We have TONS of yard clean up because the pine trees threw up on us this winter.
Of course I am making chicks for Mother’s Day! 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥 I will have assorted colors of silkies including cuckoo! I will also have polish. These are my favorite bird because they are so wacky🙈🤣 These will be silver laced and candy corn. I will have quite a few up for rehoming, as I only have so much space. Both batches are from breeders, so they will be the best quality. I have decided this is the best way to go from now on as these are always stronger, heartier birds.
And finally- We have LOTS of fresh, nutritious, delicious eggs from my healthy, happy girls. My self serve stand (The Egg Shack) is open everyday at 8am for your convenience. We are on Abrams road in Wells. We thank you kindly for your support! 🪿🐖🐓💨
