The USC FFA will be conducting the Corn/Soybean Drive on Tuesday, October 12 during the day from 9 am to 3 pm. Let’s hope the weather cooperates and that harvest will be in full swing. Let’s all stay safe and have a bountiful harvest.

Wishing Our Farmers a Safe and Successful Harvest Season!

After all the rain we've had lately, we're guessing many of you are more than ready to get back into the fields. As combines start rolling and harvest gets underway, United Hospital District would like to wish all of our local farmers and agricultural workers a safe, productive, and successful season.

We know harvest means early mornings, late nights, long days in the cab, and plenty of time spent keeping equipment running. The work isn't easy, but it's what keeps our communities strong.

As you focus on bringing in this year's crop, remember to take care of yourself, too. Whether it's a routine appointment, an unexpected injury, or emergency care, UHD is here for you and your family every step of the way.

Here's hoping for dry fields, good yields, safe equipment, and a harvest season that goes as smoothly as possible.

Some of the most valuable lessons on a farm are passed from one generation to the next, and safety should be one of them.

Teach the next generation why you shut down equipment before working on it, why you don't rush a job and why it's worth taking an extra minute to do something safely.

Experience is one of agriculture’s greatest teachers. Sharing it can help the next generation farm safer.
