we believe doing things on a small scale is the best way to maintain quality. We work hard to make sure the quality of what we produce is at the best it can be. Our pigs are fed whey from 3 local cheese farms, 2 times a day. They are in open pastures with plenty of room to move, and enjoy life. they graze on grasses and forage in maple and oak woods, for worms, grubs, acorns, and other tasty thin
gs pigs love to eat. They are happy, healthy pigs, who enjoy sun, fresh air, mud baths, and all the thing pigs that produce supermarket pork never experience. we feel good about the product we are producing, we wouldn't have it any other way. We also make some really exceptional Maple syrup, we use traditional sugaring techniques, buckets, no plastic lines, no vacuum pumps, no RO. we boil raw sap over a wood fire to make a slow cooked, long developed syrupy deliciousness. Our syrup is amazing on pancakes, but you should try it on pork chops, in your coffee, over ice-cream, with roasted veggies... its so good, you'll be looking for more than just pancake s to use it on.
