This past week marked the end of our 2013 weekly CSA shares. This was a difficult season for most farms in New England, and ours was not an exception. While some crops thrived in the cool, wet weather (kale, onions, green beans, kale, swiss chard, beets, and oh, kale), others did not fare so well (tomatoes, summer squash and zucchini, cucumbers and eggplant). We hope that everyone had enough fresh organic veggies to keep the families happy. Once we finish 'plugging in numbers' we'll have a final tally of what you all received, and will pass the word along. We will continue to have fresh eggs available all through the winter. For those of you who have a pig with us, stay tuned, as you will have your freezer ready pork very soon!
