Harmony Homestead Farm is a 100-acre homestead and working farm in Southern Vermont run by Gail and Paul Brotchie. Our mission is to provide agricultural products through local farmer’s markets or our CSA, to teach critical thinking & life skills, and to live sustainably as stewards of the land. Harmony Homestead Farm began its development in 2005 as a piece of raw land. Through much hard work, it

has become a homestead built primarily by Paul Brotchie, WWOOFers, and friends. Each structure on the property has been built from salvaged materials harvested from across New England. Harmony Homestead Farm produces eggs, produce, maple syrup, and pickled vegetables. In addition, the farm is home to draft horses, llamas, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. The Brotchie’s are AKC registered Vizsla breeders as well and aim to breed one Harmony Hound litter per year. If most humans could be as loving, accepting, dedicated and satisfied as our little Gracie was, this world would be a much better and safer place to inhabit. Her spirit was pure and loving. Gail & I laid with her throughout the night Friday. She passed in the twilight hours from a hemorrhagic spleen that had a mass. Our hearts are broken. Her full name on her papers was Scarlet's Amazing Grace. Her mom Scarlet, was killed and disappeared by a vindictive and horrible neighbor when her 10 puppies were just 2 weeks old. We bottle fed and nursed around the clock with help from friends and placed them all in good homes. Gracie was the one we picked. Our hearts are broken. She was such a special being and a part of our farm and family for 12 years.

EGGS - FREE RANGE PASTURED
Greetings Friends..... Inviting locals to join our "Free Rangers Egg Club". Aside from fabulous color (see difference in photo), free range eggs are reported to be healthier. According to Mother Earth News, free range eggs have ⅓ less cholesterol and ¼ less saturated fat than store bought eggs. They also have 3 times more vitamin E and 7 times more beta carotene. We have only a few available slots for new regular customers. Pay monthly or bi-annually. $5 per weekly dozen. Will meet or deliver near our farm in Wells, VT. 802-325-2108

Hey o'! We have some sweeeet.... accommodations to offer at the farm now. Spread the good word or come see us yourself for a truly unique and peaceful experience. Also will host groups for retreats, reunions etc. and can utilize Harmony House as additional accommodations. Happy summer
