On Saturday, while making the rounds at the Maple Festival, James met up with some old friends. James was happy to get to touch base with his friend while also learning about maple syrup and enjoying some tasty samples along the way.

I huge THANK YOU to the hundreds and hundreds of visitors that attended our maple open house. We had more visitors than ever before. So many so that we ran out of food and had to make more. Everyone was very engaged, curious, and asked lots of questions. We were happy to be able to provide answers and education on our farm and industry. We hope to see everyone again next year as we do enjoy the visits. If anyone still needs maple syrup or other maple products between now and then, you can reach out to us at the farm, come see us at our Main Street Country Store in Wellsboro, or find us at one of the several festivals we attend each summer and fall. Finally, THANK YOU to all the friends and family that helped make this weekend so successful!

The maple trees got a second wind and we're back to doing what we do! Tonight we made the lightest syrup of the season so far.
