I had this feeling like I was being watched/judged. Sure enough this little miss was keeping an eye on everything I was doing.

What is something you enjoy doing for fun/hobby??

I enjoy thrifting for antiques and creating things with my hands. I love sewing, embroidery, making candles, and decorating with my latest finds.

The first picture is a garlic scape, it’s the part of the garlic plant that will flower, then go to seed. As a garlic grower we cut these off to allow the plant to put more energy into growing a better bulb rather than reproduction.

They sure fill up a bucket fast.

The last photo is what I like to do with my scapes. I cut them up into pieces and make a garlic scape pesto then freeze in muffin tins to make a quick to grab pesto puck. It’s so good to add to pasta as a quick side dish, cook with chicken breast, add to Alfredo sauce, etc. It’s got a delicious garlic flavor.

Some people like to grill tender scapes, you can dehydrate and powder them, you can also make a scape butter if you add them to butter.

If you have a swarm of honey bees we can assist in the removal of them. Don’t panic, they are only stopped temporarily, and most likely will move on their way but if we are able to we would certainly be able to come get them.
