A fundraiser entitled “Noodles & Doodles for Blu” was held on Saturday, April 19, at Wellston Middle School. A total of $8,800 was raised during the event. There were 20-plus volunteers involved in the fundraiser, 200-plus meals served, 400-plus people in attendance, and 100-plus individual dono...

The Wellston City School District welcomed new superintendent Scott Dorne by hosting a meet and greet session at the high school.

The menu featured hawiian ham sliders, glazed pineapple and sausage bites, spinach artichoke dip in crescent cups, caprese skewers, and fruit and vegetables.

Exciting News ! Hartley Auction Service has teamed up with The King of Catering to Help Cover medical expenses for Wellston K-9 Therapy Dog Blu. There will be a Chicken and Noodle dinner, Chinese Auction & Live Auction. April 19th 4-6 Pm. at Wellston Middle School. Individuals and Businesses who would like to donate items for both Auctions can drop those items off at Wellston Middle school, Wellston Board of Education office, Sheward Fulks Insurance in Jackson , and Big-o-carryout in Oak Hill. Or call 740-418-6473, 740-418 -1761, or 740-418-2070 to have items picked up. please drop of donations by April 17th.

Christ Community Wesleyan’s Church held their first Shining STARS Gala where individuals with special needs, ages 14 and older, were honored with an unforgettable prom night experience that is centered on God’s love.

Every “STAR” entered this complimentary event with a warm welcome beginning with the ability to promptly begin receiving royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, corsages and boutonnieres, all before being welcomed and announced for a GRAND entrance down the red carpet full of paparazzi.

The STARS kicked off their royal evening with their choice of enjoying food catered by us, karaoke, and a dance floor… all leading up to the moment when each guest is crowned king or queen of the prom.

An unforgettable evening that was such an honor to be a part of. ✨
