➡️Barney Farms social media pages are currently under construction! ⬅️
This page that you are now currently following will be deleted shortly. Unfortunately, we have had to do this because our account has been compromised due to our personal page being hacked.
We have gained a whole bunch of new followers on this page within the last few weeks that unfortunately do not have our best interest,
or any agriculture best interest at heart.
We have worked hard to get our pages to where they are, and it literally makes us feel bad to think that there are people out there that take advantage of a small dairy farm page.
As always, our main goal in social media is to be a positive light in the dairy industry as well as in the community. Our hope and desire is that by sharing our day-to-day lives on the farm, that it will somehow shed some light on the farming industry all while bringing a positive friendly atmosphere.
With that being said, it is in our best interest to delete our current pages, and start fresh. Once we make this change, we are not sure how to get all of you that a followed us for so long to continue to follow on our new page. So we are asking for you to be on the lookout for our new page and to share it and like it as much as possible.
Once again, thank you so much for all of your continued support! We greatly appreciate you all 💛

WHAT’S NEW IN 2024

PLEASE SHARE THIS!! With the new year, we have been planning some new ideas for our Farm page and our Farm. We would love your input, as your support, and our journey means so much!!

Here are some ideas we have for 2024:
🤎FARM STAND: We are looking to add to our little farmstand this year. Sweet corn will be back of course! Homegrown veggies, you pick flowers, and pumpkins are a few ideas that we had.
▪️What are some items you would like to see at our stand?

🤎FREEZER BEEF: We are looking to add some freezer beef from our Angus cross animals. We had a customer ask last year if our freezer beef came from one of our dairy cull cows. Absolutely not! Our freezer beef will not come from any of our milking herd, but rather come from our Angus cross we chose to specifically raise for meat . We don’t ever buy meat from the store as our freezer is always full of Angus. The kids love when Christmas comes around, because that is their Christmas present, you cannot beat homegrown beef!
▪️What packages for beef would you be interested in? Ground beef boxes? Grill ready bundles? What size bundles…10 #, 20 #, or an assortment to choose from?

🤎BARNEY FARMS COMMUNITY DAYS: We really want to try and do some sort of Barney Farms community day in June. June is National Dairy month, and what better way to celebrate by hosting a community day on the farm! Community is so important!! We want this to be a very family friendly event!! We have not gotten all the specs finalized on this, but are definitely working on it.
▪️What are your thoughts on this? What would you like to see at a Community Day here on the farm?

🤎SCHOOLS: Educating people on where their food comes from is so important!! We are open to schools bringing kids to a field trip to see a working dairy farm!
◾️If you are a teacher please contact us to set up a day and time!

🤎SOCIAL MEDIA: As for our social media pages, we are still trying to grow them, and bring you content in a little look into life on the farm.
◾️What would you like to see from our pages? Posts? Reels? More real life everyday moments? Stories? Cows? Tractors? All of it?
