Father’s Day is just around the corner and it’s not too late to grab some great gifts for dad! Local (Wendell and Knightdale) orders will be roasted and delivered by Saturday if ordered before midnight Thursday.

Another option is to come see us at the Cary Farmers Market on Saturday where we’ll have a great line up of freshly roasted specialty coffee and merch!

Coffee Fest Chicago. Ran into some ”old” friends, met some cool new people, learned more about the intricacies of roasting, sampled a lot of good coffee. Today we eat our way through Chicago with family. Tomorrow we fly back to reality recharged and ready for the week ahead.

Whenever I see packaged coffee at a shop I can’t help but check the roast date. Nowadays many roasters only put a “best by” date on it. This one, 2 years out? Seriously? No no no. We will always put the actual roast date on it so you know an exactly how old, or how fresh, your coffee actually is. No one should be drinking 2 year old coffee.

If you’re coming to one of this week’s markets and you’d like us to bring and hold something for you, just let us know! We hate to turn customers away because we sold out, or we didn’t bring your favorite bean. Or maybe you want a 2 lb bag that we typically don’t bring to the markets. Or maybe you want something coarse ground which we typically don’t bring to the markets. Just let us know. We’ve got you!
