It scratches under oak trees, chases grasshoppers through the leaves, and lives exactly how nature intended.
This season, we are raising a limited batch of Forest-Raised Chickens right here on our land. They spend their days roaming our woodlot, eating a natural diet of bugs, grubs, and seeds alongside high-quality feed.
The result? Unmatched flavor, rich nutrition, and juicy, tender meat that you simply cannot find in a grocery store.
We handle everything ourselves—from daily care in the woods to clean, humanely managed on-farm processing.
⚠️ We are only raising 40 birds this batch, and they will sell out fast.
How it works:
1️⃣ Reserve yours: Secure your bird today with a $10 non-refundable deposit.
2️⃣ We grow it: We do the hard work raising them safely in the forest over the next few weeks.
3️⃣ Pick up & enjoy: Pick up your fresh, vacuum-sealed chicken directly from the farm in 6-8 weeks. The remaining balance is paid at pickup based on the final weight ($7.00/lb).

5 markets this week during national farmers market week! Thursday night 5:30-8:30pm in Wendell. Friday night 5:30-8:30pm at Oak City Brewing Company first Friday. We will not have meat or eggs Friday night, but you can come and try out our handmade soap, sourdough biscuits, and sourdough cornbread. Saturday morning 8am-12pm at WilsonFarmers&ArtisanMarket and 9am-1pm at Clayton Farm Community Market. Sunday 11am-2pm at Oak City Brewing Company farmers market.
