Vegetables are growing quickly now! Unfortunately, we’ve lost some from all the rain (lower area), some plants are stressed from these drastic weather fluctuations and the dreaded vine borer swooped in before I could spray the clay again and took out one of our beautiful zucchini plants 😞. THIS is reality, not picture perfect images, AI generated garbage, “fake” garden views where everything and everyone looks like all these plants grow themselves and a w**d wouldn’t dare grow in a bed while what’s not shown is the chaos in the background. Nope, I will show and tell you about the chaos! Weeds outnumbering plants 100 to 1 right now, soil so wet, w**ding takes twice as long, humidity that only allows you to work a little while without feeling like you’ve worked for days! Is it worth it? When you see fresh vegetables growing, fresh berries ripening, you pluck a fresh bean and know you can eat it on the spot without a single worry because you don’t spray chemicals anywhere…. YES! It is absolutely worth it!
