As we gather around the table and give thanks on this beautiful Thanksgiving Day, we wanted to extend a huge Thank You to everyone for making 2024 an incredibly joyful year! We believe in spreading kindness and generosity throughout our community. As our season came to a close, we made a donation of 2,054lbs of pumpkins and squash to Miami Valley Meals, who selflessly provide 4000 meals each week to those in need within our local community. Ever wonder what happens to all the leftover pumpkins, gourds, and squash after the peak season?

They get rescued! Majestic Nursery in West Alexandria donated a ton (literally—2,054 pounds) of their leftovers to our chefs. Believe it or not, all of these beautiful varieties are edible😍 Special thanks to Society of St. Andrew - Ohio for facilitating this donation.

We will be busy next week breaking them down and cooking them up. Share your favorite pumpkin and squash recipes with us in the comments to give us some inspiration!⬇️
