Hey friends! 🖋️💌
Just over here penning our annual love letter to the folks over Amilinda our favorite Spanish/portuguese shop with Iberian influence, unapologetic rainbows and hottie tottie chef + hospitality dream team. 💅🏼

We’ve gotten to work pretty closely with those folks over the years doing anniversary dinners and fondy feasts and fundraisers and farm raisers and anything else that screams community. We’ve also gotten the opportunity to be paying customers to support our friends for our own celebrations and that doesn’t happen a lot in our big little orbit.

We’ll be hopping back in the kitchen this Saturday at Amilinda with Gregory León & Nick Hoover to bring you Pride on the Penninsula, a q***r culinary journey through the regions of Spain & Portugal. We’re down to seven tickets left so please fight amongst yourselves over them, head to on Open Table and let’s make it a sell out.

Somebody gave June access to our calendar and now she’s fully unsupervised. 🌈💃🏻🔥

First stop, we’re headed out to Pizza Farm Mapleton Barn where the air smells like grass and wood smoke and suddenly everyone remembers they’re meant to sit outside more often. Come eat a pie, enjoy some music, look up at the sky, pass a vibe check.

Same day, different outfit, it’s year two of the Miss Ruby Bridal Boutique Pride Party and we wouldn’t miss it for anything. We’ll be dancing the night away in the historic Pritzlaff courtyard and serving Detroit slices. Then Friday we keep the wheels turning and roll into Food Truck Fridays at the magical Firefly Grove Park in tosa. Coming off Pride weekend with smoke in our hair, glitter permanently attached to our skin, and our hearts doing that weird too-full-to-process thing (more of that later) 🌈❤️‍🔥🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Happy Pride fam, we made it to the very best time of year, gay Christmas🔥🍕🌱✌🏼🌾❤️‍🔥🏳️‍🌈💃🏻🏳️‍⚧️🙋🏻‍♀️

This week we’ve got farm hangs, park hangs, big community hangs, and then Sunday we ascend. We are entering our final form: aggressively joyful, certainly chaotic, heavily cheesed.

Pizza Farm season is just getting started and we love our home away from home at Mapleton Barn on Thursdays. Then we’re hitting up Firefly Grove Park in Tosa on Friday so Rosie can finally meet Mama Rosa. Can’t wait for those team photos.

It’s a Sunday Funday like no other. It’s one of our greatest honors and joys to walk in the Milwaukee Pride Parade. And this year, we’re one-upping ourselves and serving 1,600 complimentary slices out of our mobile oven while strutting our stuff up 2nd street because apparently moderation has never once been our thing 😮‍💨. We’re showing up loud, joyful, grateful, q***r as hell and ready to celebrate with every gay, they, queen, queenager, ally, tiny rainbow goblin and human still figuring it out.

Pride is celebration. Pride is visibility. Pride is remembering who fought before us and making damn sure there’s room at the table for whoever comes next. If you need somewhere to be yourself this month, come find us.

Afterwards, we’re peeling off the parade route, splashing our faces with some rose petal water and heading straight to EsterEv in Bay View to toss some dough for a Post-Pride Parade Pizza Pop-Up. Pew pew pew 💥💥💥

When the team over at EsterEv reached out wanting to create more opportunities for q***r chefs and kitchen folks to collide, collaborate and make cool weird beautiful things together, our little gay pizza hearts grew three sizes. So we’re linking up for an evening of pizza, q***r hospitality, and generally slaying on the fancy side of town. Open to the public and open to all. Come eat. Come hang. Come celebrate q***r people making food for other people who like eating food (which statistically is most of you).

Thank you for showing up for us year after year, the other 11 months outside of June, and as a community wanting more for one another. We appreciate every single one of you forever amen. 🔥🍕🌱🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️‍🔥
