Need a fun activity for the kids? Definitely worth checking out! Don’t miss out this Saturday! 🎃

🎃 Our Great Pumpkin Hunt and Fall Fest is only a couple days away! 🎃

🕷🦉🦇This event will start at 10 am on Saturday, October 10, at the LaFollette Park pavilion. A naturalist from Wehr Nature Center will kick off the morning with a presentation about scary wildlife that's not really that scary. This presentation is tailored for elementary-aged kids but anyone can drop in and listen. The presentation will be held at the lower level of the LaFollette Park pavilion.

In the upper level, we'll have stuff available for kids to make cool fall and Halloween arts and crafts, supplies for cookie decorating, face painting, a spot for photos, and trick or treating. Dress in costume, if you'd like! 👻👹🧙‍♀️

And before you leave, you'll have a chance to look for a pumpkin to take home, just in time for Halloween!

We're asking for a $10 donation per family to cover costs, but donate what you are able.

If you plan to come to the event, please provide in a comment the number of people coming and the ages of any children attending. This will help us make sure we have enough supplies and snacks.

LaFollette Park is located at 9418 W. Washington St., West Allis.

The Great Pumpkin Hunt and Fall Fest is sponsored by Fruity Fusions, The Park People of Milwaukee County, Inc., and Milwaukee County Parks.
