We are patiently waiting until peaches are ripe in the next couple of weeks, but until then, make sure to stop out at your local farmers market and support your local farmers

We’re excited to announce this week’s vendors for the Richfield Farmers Market!

Join us Saturday from 10 AM – 1 PM at the Richfield Nature & Historic Park for another amazing morning of local goodness.

We’re welcoming a ton of new vendors this week — including fresh mushrooms from The Sassy Spore, gorgeous art from Lumenza, tallow balms from Bartelt Twin Pine Farm and stunning candles from BEEutifully Lit to name a few— along with all your favorite staple vendors you love to shop from.

Today, we pause to remember all who gave everything for our freedom — the men and women whose courage and love for country will never be forgotten.

Their sacrifice built the peace we cherish, the communities we nurture, and the hope we pass on to future generations.

And today, we hold close the memory of those in our own family who paid the ultimate price. Their legacy lives in our hearts, in our stories, and in the quiet gratitude we feel every day.

Richfield Farmers Market Needs Your Help!

We’re getting ready for our big season opener on May 30, 10–1 PM at the Richfield Nature & Historical Park, and we’d love a little help from our amazing community.

If you’re willing to drop off a few flyers at your favorite local businesses, cafés, churches, or community boards, it would make a huge difference.

Our market thrives because of YOU — your support, your enthusiasm, and your love for local farmers and makers.

We appreciate this community so much and cannot wait to see everyone on May 30 for another great season together. 🌻

đź’› Want to help in other ways?

If you’d like to lend a hand beyond hanging flyers — whether it’s volunteering, sharing posts, or helping on market days — please reach out!

Our community makes everything possible, and we’re so grateful for your support.

The Wisconsin Senate Committee on Transportation and Local Government is having a hearing on Tuesday, January 20th, to consider SB 739, a bill that will restrict food freedom in Wisconsin. 🍪

Say 'NO' to a sales cap and other restrictions on Wisconsin home bakers by sending a letter to members of the Senate Transportation and Local Government Committee and the Assembly Consumer Protection Committee: https://www.wisconsinfarmersunion.com/action

Selling homemade or "cottage" foods like cakes, cookies, and jams is a great way for entrepreneurs with big dreams but little capital to start their own small businesses out of their homes and to support local farms.

Currently, Wisconsin home bakers have no limit on the amount of revenue they can bring in through their business or on the locations they can conduct direct-to-consumer sales—allowing them to meet the growing consumer demand for locally made foods and support their families. But recently introduced legislation would change that.

SB 739 and AB 748 are bills that would impose a sales cap of $40,000 per year on Wisconsin home bakers, limit sales to in-person only, and require state registration if you sell more than $10,000 per year.
