🚂🍁 SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED A SISTER DAY! 💕

Yesterday, I traded my apron, sourdough baking, and never-ending to-do list for a little adventure with my sister! ❤️

We spent the day enjoying a beautiful fall train ride, taking in the scenery, sharing some laughs, and just enjoying time together.

💕 And the day wouldn't have been complete without a visit to our parents in Wautoma! Getting to spend time with family made an already wonderful day even more special. ❤️

Running a small business, keeping up with the homestead, and juggling everyday life can make it easy to forget to slow down and enjoy the little things.

But yesterday was a wonderful reminder that making memories with the people we love is just as important as everything on that to-do list. 💕

The work will always be there tomorrow, but days like this are something to treasure.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our little Homestead and allows us to build a business around the life we love. 🥰

Now it's back to the chickens, baking, refillery, and all the wonderful chaos that makes this life ours! 🐔🍞🫙

A little change in our regular routine for today!

While the Refillery will be CLOSED, I've decided to open up the farmstand shed so you can still stop by and grab some farm-fresh eggs! 🥚💛

🍞 A QUICK BREAD UPDATE!

You all showed up for us yesterday, and we SOLD OUT of our sourdough bread! 🥹💕 Thank you so much for your support!

That does mean there will be NO BREAD available today. I don't want anyone making a special trip expecting to pick up a loaf and leaving disappointed.

💕 As for me, I'm sneaking away for a little adventure today — a train ride with my sister! 🚂 Sometimes making memories with family is just what we need.

We're going to have a shorter weekend at Loveland's Homestead Refillery, but we'll still have a few opportunities for you to stop by! 💚

Here's what our weekend looks like:

When we started this journey, we had a dream of creating something special — a little country shop where neighbors could find thoughtfully chosen products, homemade goodies, handcrafted items, and a simpler way of shopping.

Today we're celebrating the hardworking hands, early mornings, late nights, and endless dedication that keep our farms and homesteads going. ❤️

Around here, farming isn't just a job. It's a way of life. It's muddy boots, unpredictable weather, long days, and the satisfaction of knowing you've grown or raised something with your own two hands.

At Loveland's Homestead Refillery & Farmstand, we believe in bringing back a little of that old-fashioned connection between the people who grow our food and the families who enjoy it.
