After 32 incredible years, it's time for us to hang up our aprons.

With grateful hearts, we want to thank every customer who has walked through our doors, trusted us to be part of your celebrations, and supported our family-owned business over the past three decades. From birthdays and graduations to weddings, baby showers, holidays, and "just because" moments, it has been our honor to help make your special occasions a little sweeter.
Along the way, so many of you became more than customers, you became part of our Cookies by Design - West Bloomfield family. We've watched your families grow, celebrated life's milestones with you, and built friendships that we will always cherish. Those memories mean more to us than words can express.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible staff members who have been part of this journey over the years. Your hard work, dedication, creativity, and genuine care helped make Cookies by Design what it became. Many of you stayed with us for years, sharing in the laughter, the VERY busy holidays, the early mornings, and the countless celebrations we helped create. You became more than employees, you became family. We are forever thankful for each and every one of you.
A very special thank you goes to Elaine. Thirty-two years ago, you packed your bags and went to Cookie College down in Texas and embraced a brand-new adventure with Connie. Your dedication, amazing talent, and unwavering commitment helped turn Connie's dream into a reality. Through every season, every holiday rush, and every challenge, whether business, personal, or health, you poured your heart into this business. Your loyalty and friendship have meant more than words can express. You have a heart of gold, and your impact on Cookies by Design will always be part of its story. Thank you for believing in the dream from the very beginning. None of this could have been done without YOU!
To everyone who has supported us over the last 32 years; our customers, our staff, our friends, and our community...thank you. If you've ever received, sent, or shared one of our cookie bouquets, thank you for letting us be a small part of your story. Your loyalty, kindness, and encouragement have meant the world to the Carlson family. We truly could not have asked for a better community to serve.
This decision was not an easy one, but after much thought, we have made the difficult choice to close our West Bloomfield Cookies by Design store. Our last day of business will be Friday, July 31, 2026.
While we're hanging up our aprons, the friendships, laughter, and memories we've shared will remain with us forever. As we prepare to close this chapter, we hope you'll stop in and say hello before July 31. We'd love the opportunity to thank you in person, share a hug, and celebrate the memories we've made together.
