Many of you have been asking what we are working on in our back field and the answer is lots!
We have been working over the last several years to continually grow the ag portion of our business here. This is inline with our long term goals of growing more localized fruit in the production of our barrel aged beer and eventually our production beers.
This includes the addition of hundreds of blueberry plants, black raspberries, plums and apples. Our initial goal is produce enough fruit to no longer need to outsource to other Vermont growers, with the longer term goal of opening up to a low key pick your own.
The best part of all is we have been working with our friends Kyle & Betsy of 1000 Stone Farm to build our vegetable farming program! Huge thanks to them! We aim to bring fresh greens, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, squash from our farm to the restaurant this summer season. We always want to produce the freshest food we can for our guest so it only made sense for us to start growing on a production scale.
We might even plant a pumpkin patch to pick from in the fall! 🎃
Wow that was a lot, but we have more!
We have live music this Saturday from High Drive! Local Celtic music from Beth Telford & Justin Park. Show starts at 6pm!
Join us on the hill for the best experience, beer and food in Braintree!
