FLASHBACK 2019!

Back in 2019 when we started this farm, we had dreams about what it would someday be. We had to start somewhere, so, we started with a six member CSA, a small roadside farmstand, and one full time farmer. With your continued and increasing support, we are well on our way to becoming that farm we dreamed about. Thank you!!

On this frosty morning in October, we are loaded up in the farmstand with a variety of greens - spinach, mesclun mix, lettuce, kale, beet greens, and a bit of arugula. There is also cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, bunching onions, peppers, boy choy, and SO much more!

We brought in another load of Jack-o-Lantern pumpkins from the field yesterday. They are piled on pallets outside the farmstand ready for your carving creations. $6 each.

Open daily year round at least 9am to 7pm!

The fall colors inside and outside of doors are so beautiful this year! Here are a few of the ones we are seeing. We hope you will stop by and enjoy them in person.

Our pasture raised chicken is back in the farmstand. We have cauliflower, tomatoes, a few cherry tomatoes, bagged greens, and so much more! Open daily at least 9am to 7pm!

Well we posted the debut of our new sign post a while back and many of you discovered us. We are going to try again in the fall foliage and see if we might gain a few more of you!

For those of you who are already customers at our farmstand in the spring, summer, and fall, please remember that we are open ALL YEAR LONG! Our hours remain the same, at least 9am to 7pm!

A fresh batch of our pasture raised chicken will be in the farmstand this week! We are loaded with carving pumpkins, pie pumpkins, winter squash and more! The tomatoes are trickling in still, for a limited time!

The Burke Fall Festival is tomorrow, Saturday, September 26th from 9am to 3pm in East Burke Village. We’ll be there with loads of pumpkins, winter squash, products made from our harvest and so much more! The forecast looks stunning. Come check out the festival and stop by our booth! We raffled off our largest Long Pie Pumpkin to one lucky CSA member. Our winner was Jerry Booth, shown here with the 12.45 pound Long Pie Pumpkin!

Long Pie Pumpkins are one of our favorites here at FFBH! And we are grateful for an abundant harvest of them this year! Long Pie Pumpkins are a heritage variety that is sweet, meaty, creamy, and has a great shelf life. They can be used as soon as there is an orange splotch on the bottom of the pumpkin. They will also turn completely orange over time. Our farmstand is stocked with them and we hope you will enjoy many this fall and winter to make breads, soups, muffins, pumpkin lasagna, roasted pumpkin, pie, etc.!

We also just restocked the greens and tomatoes in the farmstand! Get those while they last!

Open daily at least 9am to 7pm, all year long!

It is fall and Tuesday Night Pizza on the Farm is coming to a close for the season.
Join us for one last hurrah! The menu is full of fall deliciousness!

Cheese Pizza: FFBH Heirloom Tomato Sauce and Jasper Hill's Chef Shred cheese

Vegetarian Pizza: OTTO Copy Cat - Butternut squash, Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese, Cranberry and Crispy Kale

Meat Pizza: Roasted garlic, FFBH chicken, spinach and white sauce topped with Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese. (Not available as DF)
