Today, we recorded dressage tests for the WDAA online Dressage Championships. We had two riders who qualified at Basic, level 1, and level 2. They have been working hard to improve, and their dedication is evident.
They are winners no matter where they place in the ribbons.

Last Friday, We got together for a play night and potluck. Horses and their people did an obstacle course,and a relay race. They demonstrated teamwork with a game of tissue paper pairs, then went all out in a game of musical chairs!
After putting horses away with their evening hay, Everyone enjoyed a potluck supper and great conversation about, what else? HORSES!

There was some serious gambling going on at Frontenac farm today.
Riders participated in a poker ride this morning. Poker cards were left around the property to be collected on horseback.
Then we put our horses away and played 5 card stud using mints for bets.
One lucky card player/ rider won the whole pile!
We finished the morning with a potluck lunch under the trees.

It’s really fun to compete with riders from all over the world without leaving our home arena!
