I’d love your feedback on something…

I’ve been seriously considering starting a small catering business on the side. As a chef with years in the restaurant industry, cooking has always been my passion, and I’m thinking it might be time to take that next step.

My question is this:

Would you hire an independent caterer for birthdays, graduation parties, game days, family gatherings, or other events?

What would make you choose an individual over a restaurant?

* Better food?
* Better prices?
* More customizable menus?
* More personal service?

Be honest—I genuinely want to know what you think. If this is something people would be interested in, I’d love to make it happen.

And if you would hire someone like me, what kind of food would you want to see on the menu?
