Holcomb Farm Holcomb Farm is an operating 312 acre historic farm and community center located in West Granby, Conn

Nonprofit, year-round CSA, Farm Store, Hub for Local Foods, Community Center, Charitable Organization, Trail System, Plant and Animal Habitat, Event Rental Facility. Our produce is grown without pesticides or chemicals; we carry a variety of products from approximately 20 local farms in our Farm Store (including meats, cheeses, honey, bread, maple syrup, and more); we host public education and special events for the public; and, with 10+ miles of hiking trails, we provide ample opportunity for the public to experience and enjoy the great outdoors. In addition, we donate more than 6 tons of produce annually to neighbors in need through our Fresh Access program. Spend a beautiful fall day enjoying the colors, views, and changing of the seasons on the Holcomb Farm Tree Trail 🍁🍂The Holcomb Farm Tree Trail will host a guided foliage hike on October 17 starting at 10 AM from the main campus parking lot. There will be two options of one or two hour duration. The first hour will be in the open fields along mowed paths and will include touring the state trees for the original 13 states. People can finish at this point, or continue into the wooded trails for an additional hour of hiking and viewing.

The pace will be casual, well suited for families and dog walkers (with their well behaved, leashed dogs).

No registration is necessary.

Our Winter CSA is open for signups!! This year is the winter share is better than ever because it will be in our brand new farm store! Rather than once a month and all at once, winter share members will be able to come to the farm every week, every other week, or once a month to get their share — CSA member’s choice!

The winter share is full of storage crops and greenhouse greens to get you through the winter while eating seasonally and locally. Scroll through the photos to see some of our crop options from years past! (These photos were taken in our old, unheated, open-to-the-elements, CSA barn! The winter share will now be in the new farm store)

The perks of joining the winter share are 1. Supporting a local, holistic, chemical-free farm all year round 2. CSA members save money in the long run because you pay wholesale prices rather than farm market prices 3. It’s delicious and full of nutrients!!

Bok Choy half the size of a human?! We had some monster heads coming out of the field this week weighing close to 5 lbs each 😱 Miso soup or stir fry anyone? This time of year is spent cleaning up the fields, cover cropping, harvesting the last of the summer crops before the frosty temps stick around, and harvesting the fall crops. Season of change is here and the veggies show it! Come on by the farm store 10 am to 6 pm to get fresh veg you can trust!

We are open today, tomorrow, and Saturday 10 am to 6 pm so stock up on fresh, local, chemical-free veg before all the rain hits us this weekend! You want summer veg like peppers,cucumbers, and tomatoes? We have them! You want fall produce like greens, winter squash, and apples? We have them!
