Rain or shine, the stand is STOCKED! 🍅🥒🌶️

The season is starting to wind down, but the garden clearly didn’t get the memo! 😂 We’ve been out picking in the rain and loaded the stand up with all your local favorites for the weekend.

Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peppers, garlic and more — plus eggs, salsa and plenty of pickles!

We’re getting to that time of year when “I’ll grab some next time” can turn into “damn, I should’ve grabbed it when they had it.” 😬

So don’t wait until you’re craving that fresh local tomato, your favorite peppers, or another jar of pickles and the season is over.

👉 Come get it while we’ve got it — because Mother Nature doesn’t do rain checks!

We’re trying to keep everything rotating and out of this summer heat, so come grab some fresh, locally grown goodness!

Today you’ll find eggplant, grape & cherry tomatoes, Big Beef tomatoes, Mountain Fresh, Mountain Majesty, zucchini, yellow squash, patty pan squash, garlic, cucumbers and more.

We’ve noticed quite a few people giving the patty pan squash a try — we hope you’re enjoying them! 😊

🍅 A little crack doesn’t make it a bad tomato!

You might notice some of our farm-fresh tomatoes have splits or cracks. This usually happens when we get dry or hot weather followed by a good amount of rain. The tomato takes up water faster than its skin can stretch — and POP, you get a split! 🌧️☀️

They may not be grocery-store perfect, but they’re still perfectly good to eat and just as delicious. Cut around the cracked area if needed and enjoy!

That’s part of buying local and eating what Mother Nature gives us. ❤️

🥒 Summer Squash to Share! 🥒

We have an abundance of summer squash right now—many are larger than the typical grocery store size, but they’re still perfect for zucchini bread, stuffed squash, casseroles, grilling, soups, and more.

If you or someone you know could use some fresh garden produce, please send me a message or give me a call. We’d much rather see it feed a family than go to waste.

Fry Pond Road runs between Weaver Hill Road and Robbins Hollow Road, and our stand is located about 1 mile down Fry Pond Road from either direction.

Stop by for fresh vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, homemade pickles, and whatever is in season. Our stand is self-serve and operates on the honor system.
