70 years ago George and Dot said I do. Their love is unconditional, steady, and a true example of what it means to stand by each other in every season of life. Their love has touched so many in ways words will never explain.

Every year everything comes down, but where do we put it? We pack light strands in plastic tubs and stack them in the top of the barn, the deer and plastic decorations get stacked in the cellar, the village gets safety packed into boxes, the animals return to pasture so we stack trees in the pens and the antique building stores a lot of our larger wooden displays!

As the valley stays dark tonight, we can’t help but feel incredibly thankful for every guest who visited the display this season.
From families starting new traditions to those continuing traditions, each interaction reminded us of why we do this year after year. Your kindness, smiles, and words of encouragement meant more than you know.

Until next year, thank you for letting us be a small part of your holiday memories. Only a short 329 days until we welcome you back!
