Here's what was happening around the farm in July! 🇺🇲

1. The pigs are living their best life with lots and lots of mud. I even got a bit of a smile from this one. 🐽

2-5. Three nights at the Western Stampede! Driving the carriage, helping with livestock, and saying howdy to the bucking bulls before everything got started.

6. Cooling off with our latest and greatest ice cream flavor.

7. A leak in the well. 😬 Fortunately Shayn was able to find it and repair it quickly so we didn't have the water off for too long.

8. Our newest member of the farm team. Scout really loves Shayn, loves doing chores with Shayn, and chewing on everything.

9. The meat chickens are doing great and will be available in our store soon!

10. Evening chores consistently include watering and creating more mud for the pigs.

11. The turkeys get curious about my camera and are always "talking". 😂 Lots of gobbles when they get fed & watered each day. Coming soon in November!

Summer has arrived and it seems to be zipping by. ☀️ Here's what's been happening on the farm over the past month!

1 & 2. Shayn and the dairy crew doing pregnancy checks on the cows with the ultrasound. The gals patiently waited for their turn.

3. Penny looking so glamorous. 😻

4. Finished planting vegetables in the garden and Talmage wanted to add some flowers.

5. Multiple loads of hay arrived. Stocking up as the hay scene seems a little uncertain this year.

6. Harper and Little Debbie - the smallest calf we've ever had at the farm. 💕

7. Just a snapshot of my kefir grains. I think they're so fascinating and I love the kefir I get from our raw milk.

8. The turkeys are out of the brooder and living it up outside!

9. New at the farm: Raw Chocolate Milk!

10. Hillori taught a couple of classes - one on kebabs and another about cultured dairy. Hillori Hansen

11. Watering the pigs during evening chores. They tend to stay shaded up during the day but come out to play later on.

Now pouring: Raw Chocolate Milk! 🍫

Your inner 10-year-old is about to be very happy, because this goodness is now in the farm store!

Made here in our dairy using our fresh raw milk, organic cocoa powder, organic cane sugar, vanilla extract, and sea salt. It's delicious with just the right amount of chocolatey goodness.

Pick up a pint for the drive home, or a half-gallon to share with your family…if it makes it that far honestly. 😁

A quick recap of what happened around the farm last month!

1. Sam is still very noisy and very bossy until he gets his hay in the mornings. (Remember last summer when he was just a little guy with a wagging tail? 🥹)

2. Bottling fresh milk & stocking in the farm store multiple times each week.

3. Shayn getting creative to feed three calves at a time.

4. Running deliveries! Yep, we'll bring bulk options right to your front door. 📦👏

5. Chef Hillori's classes have been so helpful, delicious & fun!

6. I think I made the best burger I've ever had. 😂 Started with one of our Barn Burgers, added homemade mayo and all the fixings and it was just so good!

7. The Butter Disaster of 2026 (yes, it's capitalized because it was an event). Shayn was making butter and somehow the churn vibrated its way off the table, spilling butter everywhere. Literally everywhere. Yes, Shayn cleaned it up. Yes, he was able to fix the churn. No, that wasn't the end because it left the floor a little slippery and Talmage skidded while holding an ice cream base, so then we had another spill. 😂 Comedy of errors!

11. A fresh batch of tallow from our butcher shop. I love cooking with it, and I love the skincare products so many customers have made & shared with me. 💕
