Dairy goat farm worker needed ASAP at Drake Family Farms in West Jordan, Utah. PM if interested. We need someone who is a hard worker and cares about giving the goats the best care possible. Milking feeding, kidding, kid raising etc. you know the drill unlimited work with the goats. Possible basement apartment on the farm as part of compensation.

We were on the news today. Fox 13 Utah interviewed Jeanette for a story about the United States Department of Agriculture's plans to help small family farms.
She got a phone call from Ben Winslow of Fox 13 News today. He wanted to interview someone from our farm for a story about the USDA plans of Secretary Brooke Rollins' to "Make Agriculture Great Again." He said he could be here in an hour. Jeanette said yes and ended up on the 5:00 and the 9:00 news. Here is the link.

U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins has unveiled a new initiative from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to try to preserve smaller, family-owned farms like Drake's.

There will be no Winter Farmers' Market this Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Gateway. The Gateway closes all its entrances to make a giant entertainment district. Saturday is the 46th Salt Lake City St. Patrick's Day Parade. The Parade starts at 11:00 AM and travels along 200 South before turning north into The Gateway and traveling through the shopping center to 50 North.
Drake Family Family Farms will be back at the Downtown Winter Market on Saturday, March 23, 2024, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Gateway.

Well, we didn't make it to the Farmers' Market this morning. Apologies to anyone who went downtown to the Gateway this morning expecting to purchase some of our products. Our store at our farm in West Jordan is open today until 8:00 PM. We will be back at the Gateway next Saturday, January 20, 2024.

We are NOT selling a combine!!! If anyone has contacted you about a combine, it is not from us. We have never owned a combine. Goat dairies do not use combines! There is a scam targeting lawyers in Canada to draw up legal papers for a used New Holland combine sale. They have even used our Drake Family Farms California logo illegally. The perpetrators are not very sophisticated. They are likely located in a foreign country.

Because of Family Reunions (one for our family and one for the family of key employees), we will not be participating in the Downtown Salt Lake City Farmers' Market on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Our products are always available at our farm store in West Jordan and at various other stores. We will return to the Farmers' Market the next week, July 15, 2023, in our regular location near 300 West and 300 South. We apologize for any convenience, but after all, we are a "family farm" and family is very important to us.
