Did you know? The garlic we'll offer in the farm stand next summer was planted earlier this week. In total we planted just shy of 50 pounds! of garlic and shallots. The field was amended with on-farm compost before planting. Later this week, we'll cover the planting with straw for winter insulation and w**d suppression. This officially starts the 2026 growing season. 🧄

Last call!!! There's not too much left in the market, but everything is 50% off marked prices and THIS SATURDAY will be the LAST DAY for any produce! Temps are plummeting and we're not going to heat the building after Saturday so it will all be moved out at the end of the day. You still have a few days though to stock up on potatoes, winter squash (kabocha, peanut pumpkins), gourds for Thanksgiving decor. The sale includes the dried flowers and allium heads that are out there as well. The dried allium heads make a neat addition stuck into the Christmas tree (spray painted or natural)... It all must go! 😆

If you've already made your final trip for the season, we love you and appreciate everyone so much who keeps us "growing"! ♥️ It's been a great season, already looking forward to the next, but will enjoy the much needed rest! ☃️

All pumpkins, gourds, winter squash, and Indian corn are now 1/3 off of marked prices!!! And prices on remaining produce have been drastically reduced.

Everything left for the season has been packed into the market building now, staying nice and warm for a couple more weeks... We still have a selection of pumpkins, squash, gourds, a little summer produce, and more. Come by and stock up on potatoes and winter squash that will last many more weeks in your basement or pantry. Plan ahead for Thanksgiving decor with some unique gourds and pumpkins. 'Long island cheese' and 'Peanut' pumpkins are grouped and labeled and are great edible pumpkins for pies and soups! "Fill the Freezer Sale" part 3:

We're picking the vines clean in anticipation of the freeze. That means LOTS of green tomatoes. These are great for fried green tomatoes or homemade chow chow (a relish popular with our Southern friends).

"Fill the Freezer Sale" part 2:

All potatoes are now $1 per pound. Want larger quantities?- just send us a message. The reds and purples are starting to sprout, but still solid.

We picked our final batch of eggplants- 2 for $1.

We're still open daily, sunrise through sunset. We plan to stay open through Halloween.

Fill the Freezer Sale!

We've held on to summer as long as we could and dodged a couple light frosts- but a forecasted FREEZE midweek has us gathering what's left on the farm as quickly as we can.

Sweet and bell peppers are now 4/$1 while they last- even the big ones! These can be sliced or diced and frozen for use all winter long. Stay tuned for more details on other produce items.

Fresh green beans in the market! And lots more! There are 4 lb "bulk" bags of green beans in the market fridge ($10) for anyone wanting to preserve some or cook up a big pot. 😁 And the pumpkin patch has officially been cleared, so all of the pumpkins are out for sale now. 🎃🍂🎃🍂🎃
