Oakley bought a couple of Holland Lop bucks from me this last year and she showed them at the Shelby County Fair this week. I didn't get to watch her show but I'm so proud of how she did for her first year showing. That smile says it all!!

I was so glad to have the Bradley family come back this year and purchase more goats from me to be shown at Clark County Fair. I went down Wednesday and watched them so the market wethers and couldn't have been happier on how they placed!! I missed the market production class on Tuesday but I got pictures. These kids worked hard with these goats and did very well with the competition at that fair. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the time the goats were little to see the final product!

Anyone that knows me knows that Fair time is my favorite time of year. I love watching each kid work hard and create a bond with their animals. This year at Logan County Fair I had 5 dairy goats shown, 6 Holland Lops and a mini rex shown by Kaylynn. And 4 market wethers shown by Haylee, Zoey, Elizabeth, and Addison. Kaylynn, Chloe, Carter, Rylee, and Hayes all showed market goats as well raised on their farms and did awesome. Here are some of my favorite pictures from fair

It has been a busy week. Last Friday Price had triplets 2 boys and a girl. She is caring for all 3 on her own. Mimosa had twin boys on Sunday. She wasn't sure at first but now she is doing great. Rhea had twins boy and girl on Monday. Those babies are being fostered by Flicka who lost her babies. And I pull all dairy babies so I can milk the moms. And then Athena had 2 massive boys this afternoon, which are being bottle fed if you know anyone looking. Now a break until end of March when Penelope is due. Also this week 6 babies left for their 4H homes and I also welcomed a new dairy doeling

I love watching kids come and pick out their projects and falling in love and making connections with the animals. I think the kids and projects this year are perfect matches. I can't wait to see these kids get their projects home and working with them for fair. I still have a few goats left if you know anyone looking. Kai decided to have triplets last night so far everyone is doing good even though I have to supplement due to Kai only having one side of her udder that works. Kai and I have a love hate relationship she doesn't like me much and will bite me hard right after she kids. But I keep her around because she always throws awesome babies so it is worth the fight. Pray that everyone continues to do good.

Well Reese and Evie did it again delivered on the same day. Sadly Reese had 2 stillborns she was extremely upset so I tried something I wasn't sure would work I put the 2 bottle babies that are from the quads in with her and so far she has accepted them as her own. Evie had a big buck kid and a doe right around noon today. They are doing good so far
