🐣 Did you know? Our hens successfully raised babies all on their own with very little help from us in the past. Though one time last year, we incubated our own chicks from eggs laid right here in the barn. The joke was on us, though… we ended up with 7 roosters! 😂 It was fun for the kids, anyway. 😂 Thankfully, many of them found new homes.

These days, we have around 30 chickens, which is why we almost always have plenty of fresh eggs available!🥚

And it looks like we may have babies again soon - one of our hens has gone broody and is faithfully sitting on a nest of eggs. Stay tuned! 🐔💛
