This year been hard on all the farmers. I’m so thankful for a husband that prays and seeks wisdom to grow these crops. It has definitely been more work than reward. The Bible tells us it rains on the just and unjust. So we will prevail and count every blessing along the way.

Hot off the presses! 🥬📰

Greaux the Good partner Big Daddy Farms was featured in local news this month, highlighting how their hydroponic growing system is helping meet increased demand for locally grown lettuce amid the ongoing Cyclospora outbreak.

As concerns around the outbreak have shifted some consumers’ shopping habits, local farmers are stepping up to fill the gap. Big Daddy Farms’ hydroponic system allows them to grow lettuce year-round and keep a steady supply on hand.

It’s a great example of Louisiana farmers adapting to meet their communities’ needs while keeping fresh food close to home. 🌱
