Landry Vineyards was established in 1999 by Jeff, Libby and their four sons; Ethan, Kohen, Noah and Micah along with the loving labor of family and friends. The first grape vines planted were two acres of a white European American hybrid grape, Blanc Du Bois, with plans for 2003 expansion including a red
grape, Cynthia/Norton. Landry Vineyards was licensed as a Louisiana Native Winery in 2003. The first vineyards were established in Folsom, La. where the winery was also located. In 2006 the Landry's moved from South La. to North La, in the hill country of Ouachita Parish in West Monroe, where they now reside. They have 16.5 acres of grapes planted: Blanc Du Bois, Lenoir/Black Spanish, Crimson Cabernet, Cabernet Doré and two varieties of muscadines; Carlos (white) and Noble (red). We also bring in quality wine grapes that are not suitable for growing conditions in our area. The grapes are processed and the wine is handcrafted right here at our winery in West Monroe. Landry Vineyards is passionate in growing and producing excellent wines for all to enjoy. You can find us in your local Louisiana Grocery stores and or shop on line to be delivered to your door. We offer tastings and tours at the facility. Please visit the website for additional information on tastings, tours and events. www.landryvineyards.com
