Homemade waffles are delicious and they freeze well!

Allow them to cool on a wire rack after cooking, then stack them into a freezer bag, and freeze. When you need some just pop them in the toaster for a quick, easy, and delicious breakfast on a busy morning ☀️

Today’s tip: when making mountain pies, don’t forget the secret upgrade: add a small pad of cream cheese right into your fillings before toasting.

It might sound simple, but that little addition makes a big difference. The cream cheese melts into everything, adding a rich, creamy texture and just a hint of tang that takes both sweet and savory pies to the next level. Think gooey fruit fillings that taste like instant cheesecake, or savory combos that turn extra smooth and satisfying.

It works with just about anything—apple, cherry, pizza-style, breakfast pies… you name it. Just don’t overdo it; a small pad is all you need for that perfect melt.

Give it a try on your next campfire (or backyard) cookout and thank Kami from C. Palmer's later 🔥🥪
