Thoughts and a timeline on the day of a life of a business owner.
Here we go!
As I wake up and take a shower, I get out of the shower and my wife is talking about Nystrom Orchard and how the Farmers Market in the Park is cancelled due to weather! I am still half asleep and look at my wife and say. Wait, what the heck is going on? She repeated herself (she has to do that often for me as my head is geared in a way of a businessmen preparing for what we all have to do today to get ready for the day(business people, you'll understand where I'm going there)
Listen, I'm half in the buff and I scramble to get my phone that's still on the charger and call Kia Nystrom and it goes straight to VM, I call back again, she answers, she said my problems I'm not going to put it on you, I told her, Kia you are a Fellow Worthingtonian! You are more than welcome to come to our store and set up shop! I don't know what you all need but we'll figure it out. I could hear in her voice that she was taken back and a little muffled but I AM GOING TO HELP YOU OUT.
We got to work, got a few things done, my help arrived, we got situated with our stuff, explained to our team what's going on and how we are going to do it and WHAM! The day happened! Wowzers! Kia has a following that matches our following! You combine our 2 followings and you have a storm!
A storm we both weathered, TOGETHER
I just want to say when that storm approached, we handled it seemlessly! A few rocky moments and some telling customers to come in and get the front door closed to keep the cool air in(I'm a sorry if I got a little growly about that, I just don't like flies and moisture buildup on my freezer doors) I wanted to share our end of how the day went and it was nothing that we couldn't handle!
Thanks to our team(Angie and Bert) our Neighbors Gary Gould and Donna! The Reitz gals for helping getting Kia unloaded and getting my my wife and I drinks to get hydrated for the day With SBL Nutrition! You are all amazing to make that day work like it did!
