Update : He is home ! ♥️ He has been for a couple days, but it's been back to back appointments, trying to get into a new routine and some much needed rest. We will not be at the market this month, still no truck and no market supplies. Taylor still has a lot of healing to do and will not be doing anything on the farm for some time. To be completely transparent -- Taylor was not at fault for the crash early morning on July 5th, the other driver swerved into his lane as reported in the news. The reason as to why is under investigation. Taylor does not remember the accident itself, he remembers waking up to airbags all around him, pain, the doors unable to open and the sound of fire. The other person who died had bare minimum insurance that is nowhere close to cover the expenses the crash created. Our own is kicking in, but it's still not enough. So coming to the farm and supporting us by purchasing our eggs and other goodies is really helping us get through. We are so thankful for everyone who has come out and supported in any way. 🌻
Farm Stand is Open 9am to 7pm every day now.
It is stocked daily with pasture raised chicken and duck eggs as well as quail eggs. We have local honey and beeswax products from YME Apiary in Okeechobee, Florida grown Olive Oil, lard soap handmade by us from our pigs, plant starts, insulated tote bags and I plan to restock some jam this week. I'll see if I can add some other goodies to make it worth the trip for those coming from a distance.
Put 'Firefly Farm' into your GPS for best directions. We are located on Fox Brown Rd in Indiantown. The farm stand is self serve and located just inside our property after the green gates. Small brown building with a trellis walkway. The door can be stiff sometimes,. It's not locked., walk right in. Cash, card, zelle, or Venmo are accepted and payment instructions are by the door.
