Unpopular opinion-these are some of the most underrated food items (along with onions, mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, stinky cheese & mustard)

Thankfully my family mostly gets on board with most of my “crazy” food items.

Lamb-seriously, if you haven’t ever tried it, get some shanks and do a low and slow braise in a red wine, trinity broth. So so good. Serve the jus over mashed potatoes.

Cabbage-fry it with a bit of bacon grease and let it get a little brown. You’ll regret passing up this vegetable except for temperature Tuesdays.

Anchovies-melt them into your spaghetti sauce or even just the butter before you toss in the noodles. It adds a level of flavor that washyoursistersauce and soy sauce typically bring to a dish.
