Did you know Lancaster was once the capital of the United States? 🇺🇸

On September 27, 1777, the Continental Congress met right here in Lancaster, making our city the nation’s capital for one day.

Tomorrow, Lancaster is celebrating that history with the first annual Lancaster Capital Day at Penn Square!

Of course, Rebel Hive wasn’t here in 1777. Had there been mead waiting for Congress, maybe they would’ve stayed a little longer. 🍯😂

We’ll be right around the corner at Lancaster Central Market, fully stocked and pouring samples.

Year 7 is here. 🍯🔥

Our 7th Anniversary Mead starts with orange blossom and meadowfoam blossom honeys, then is aged with mango, hibiscus, and Citra hops.

The result is something a little bigger than what we normally make — weighing in at 16.5% ABV.

Year 7 needed a little extra time.

We think it was worth the wait.
