1. Alpacas do not spit at humans intentionally like llamas!

2. They are extremely safe, quiet and gentle animals to be around

3. There are two breeds of Alpacas- Huacaya and Suri

4. To communicate they use body language and humming

5. They are very social and curious and love being surrounded by other alpacas, animals and humans!
