Because we have so many new followers, we thought we’d re-introduce ourselves!
Hi! We’re Ashley & Mia, the sisters behind The Lee Loaf!
The Lee Loaf started when I began baking sourdough bread at home. I was looking for healthier options for my family and, honestly, I was tired of the store-bought crap and all the unnecessary preservatives and ingredients I couldn’t pronounce.
I started making sourdough for our family, and what began as a way to put better bread on our own table quickly turned into something so much bigger. Before we knew it, friends, family, and neighbors were asking for loaves of their own!
As The Lee Loaf grew, I knew I couldn’t do everything myself, so I brought in my sister, Mia!
Mia is a very talented cake decorator and has been making sweets for our family birthdays, holidays, parties, and celebrations for many, many years. She’s always been the dessert girl in the family, so bringing her into The Lee Loaf was a no-brainer!
Between my love of sourdough and Mia’s talent for creating beautiful sweets, we make the perfect baking duo. Everything we make is homemade, from scratch, and made with the same care we’ve always put into feeding our own family.
And just in case you’re wondering what exactly The Lee Loaf is—we’re a legitimate LLC and a licensed Cottage Food Operation permitted through Yolo County. We’re proud to be a small, local, family-owned business right here in West Sacramento!
What started in our home kitchen has grown into a little bakery that we are incredibly proud of, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.
So if you’re new here… WELCOME TO THE LEE LOAF!
